I liked this article, which addressed a dilemma I, too, face: What to do when you really like the new Willie Nelson song? I just told myself that its references to lynching and whatnot was a reference to Western movies, divorced from the real lynchings of the South, and that the tune was more cathartic than a real call to action. Had I known his duet was with Toby Keith, I might have had more problems with it. In any event, the message troubles me, but it is a catchy song, so I suppose, if I catch it in one of the rare moments when I'm listening to the radio, I'll listen.
